Fasika Moges
Fasika Moges received his Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland, where he studied under the guidance of professors Ziemski, Kruczkowski, and Winiarski. He also holds an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Arts from Seattle Central Community College in Seattle, Washington. Fasika has displayed his work in over fifty individual and group art exhibitions in the United States, Europe, and East and North Africa. Several of his paintings and drawings are owned by individuals and institutions in Italy, France, Poland, Sweden, Israel, Ethiopia, and the United States. artist
Fasika’s art combines an interest in tradition with modern style and expression. His paintings range from highly abstract to almost realistic, and from traditional to innovative in technique, the use of color and texture, and the choice of tools and materials.
